We've posted a list of scholarships for k-8, high school, and college for Brooklyn residents and schools at our list of scholarships. Some are for full tuition and as much as $20,000 per year! We have also included some scholarships based on ethnicity. If you live somewhere else in NYC such as Staten Island, Queens, or Manhattan, there are some scholarships unique to you as well. Please help us keep the list as accurate and updated as possible. Let us know about your experiences with these scholarships and financial aid opportunities.
For all New York State residents, the New York State Scholarship for Academic Excellence awards $500-1,500 per year to a "12 Grade or College student New York resident who graduated from a New
York high school and will study in a New York undergraduate program.
Awards are based on some Regents exam grades."
